About Me

I am a professional writer and editor, currently serving as the editor of Croydon Writers, with experience judging writing competitions across London, including for the Society of Public and Civil Servants Writers (SPCSW).

For over ten years, I have successfully tutored students for 11 Plus entrance exams, with many securing places at top-choice grammar and independent schools. As a parent of two boys who were in Wilson’s School, I understand firsthand the challenges and expectations of the 11 Plus journey

My approach focuses on building strong skills in SPAG, comprehension, and creative writing, supported by regular homework and weekly tests. This clear and consistent learning pattern has helped students gain confidence and achieve excellent results year after year.
